What Was I Thinking?

As I sit here realizing that my day of classes are not over, I ask myself what was I thinking. Why in the world did I sign up for a 6 to 8pm class. I guess I just wanted to torture myself slowly. I think I could kick my own behind right now. Well I guess I just got to get over it. I'm about to enjoy the little time I do have to myself and try to take a nap before class. UGH!!!! Never again.

As a college student, you are limited on money, time, and available cooking resources unless you have a stove in the area. Below is a delicious recipe for chocolate grapes.

1. Combine the white chocolate chips and shortening in a small microwave-safe bowl. Heat in the microwave for 30 second intervals, stirring between each, until melted and smooth. .

2. Dip clean, dry grapes into the chocolate. Set on waxed paper until dry. Warm chocolate as needed in the microwave to keep it liquid.

Teen Pregnancy

As I look at pictures on my facebook, I find it just amazing how females are getting pregnant. I swear teen pregnancy is like an epidemic. I think the thing that is shocking me so much is the fact that they are happy they are pregnant and sadly to say some of these teens want to get pregnant. Do you know that 3 out of 10 teenagers in the US get pregnant before they are at least 20? What could possibly be going through their minds. I thank GOD everyday that I made it to where I am right now without struggling to be a young mother.

I keep asking myself why can't teens just practive abstinence. Studies show that most teens who have sex wish they had waited. It's so simple to say NO...you can even say it if you've said yes before. I think the biggest pressure teens are recieving with sex is they are mistaken sex for love. One in five teens say they have friends in unhealthy relationships. Those relationships include those with no trust, respect, honesty, and love.

I think a good show that people should really watch is 16 and Pregnant. It depicts the reality of being a young parent. I'm sure they cut a lot out but it still shows a lot of what its really like.

We all need to work together to keep todays youth from making the wrong decisions.

I just wish teenagers would think about things before they make decisions that will affect them and in the long run, affect their child or unborn child.

Ferris State University

As I wake up for the morning and prepare for class, I thank GOD that I ended up at the school I'm at now. I couldve chosen a lot of schools but I think I made the right choice. Many people look at my school as a party school but there in reality there is so much more to Ferris State. They offer so many wonderful programs and the learning experience is one of a kind. I just want to slightly expose everybody to the real Ferris.

Right Back To Work

So yesterday I had a pretty relaxing day...sadly to say today will not be one of those. I totally need to study for this test I have on Monday. I'm feeling pretty confident about it ;however, I still want to review the powerpoints and my notes. On top of me having to do that, I need to wash my clothes. I could wait but I don't want to them to overflow...I HATE THAT!!! I'm also gone continue my weekend right and cook in a little while. I did start my day off laughing though...my friend's boyfriend made another video with that dang extreme camera. You can find that video below...this is why you shouldnt buy your boyfriend an extreme camera. Furthermore, I'm about to hit the books. I'll be back tomorrow morning. Check out the ridiculous video below.

One Relaxing Day

Today has got to be the most relaxing day I have had all week long. I got to sleep in and man that felt good. I don't have classes on Friday so I don't have to wake up early for anything. After waking up around 12p.m., I did my friend's hair and watched the most ridiculous video that her boyfriend uploaded on YouTube. (Note: Never buy your boyfriend an extreme camera...) Lol!

Anyway after she left, I took a relaxing shower and got ready to truly enjoy my day. Now everybody and their mother has been talking about how funny and good the movie The Hangover was...I felt the need to find out for myself today. I must say it was FUNNY AS EVER!!! I say everybody should go check it out if you need a good laugh. I think I may go see it again...it was just that good.

But going on, I'm back in my dorm room just relaxing. I'm probably going to cook me something in a minute because I am starting. I hope everybody has a Neato day and I will be back with another post tomorrow.

First Day

Today is the first day of my new blog. It's time I start taking out some time to write about my day and clear my thoughts. I love to write yet my busy college schedule is taking my life and my expenses. I'm currently taking summer classes and paying wayyy too much money for them. On top of that, I'm in a new relationship. My life is full and sometimes can get complicated. Writing is the only way I can keep calm. I think I will be posting some of my poems on here too. Well can't wait until my official first blog post tomorrow.

GOD Bless!!
